The Bread ~or~ Half a Loaf

My bread came out at midnight.
I turned back into a pumpkin
as I crawled back into bed.

With all my experience, I still goofed up.
I sprayed oil on the Saran Wrap before
I used it to cover my rising loaves.
I must have been really drowsy
(I know I was) because I put the
unsprayed side down.
So, when I uncovered the loaves
to put them in the oven, I had
to peel off the wrap, causing
the tiny bubbles to break, resulting
in this flat top look.
Ah, well, it tastes good,
anyway.

I was going to blur the
background of my
pictures, but decided
to leave them "honest."
There was more light in the
living room, so I
set my bread in a chair
to have its picture made.

  1. My bread doesn't usually even look that good, and I have a bread machine - I'd never be able to make bread otherwise!

    1. LOL! Never is a very long time, Eva Girl. I'm sure you could get to be a master bread maker, if you really wanted to do so. :)
