Seven Little Swatches and How They Shrunk Swatch One

It doesn't often work out this way,
but I went to Goodwill
last week and found
wool yarn for far less
than I would have had
to pay from most other sources.
This beautiful, untouched, hand - dyed
wool was marked $2.99 per skein.

This is how my knitted swatch looked
after my first attempt to full/felt it
in our washer.
There is definitely some
 shrinkage and adhesion,
but it didn't get very small and thick.

Back into the washer today.
The results are more noticeable.
Really small swatches are
not as dramatic to full.
I didn't want to use
much of this yarn
for sampling.
