Forsythia is Out! So is Laundry.

It has been a while coming but
the forsythia is popping into bloom

With no errands to run

and the sky clear of black, threatening clouds,

I finally hung out the first load of laundry
this Spring.  :)

Are Daffodils May Flowers?!

 For, lo, the winter is past, 

the rain is over and gone;

The flowers appear on the earth; 

the time of the singing of birds is come, 

and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land

Little different here.

It will still rain, in our climate.

I'm not sure I ever heard

a turtle  :)

And we have mourning doves

not turtledoves

anyway.

BUT

climate differences aside,

Spring is here. :)

I guess they are

for this year, anyway. :)

Shoots, Buds and Blossoms

Where there seemed to be nothing
chives have arisen!

Buds swell with promise.

Delicate crocus bloom.

There are still traces of snow,
but Spring is winning.
