Going to be an interesting Thanksgiving, this year! My Mom's gone. This will be the third Thanksgiving celebration without her. The first year, my sister & I tried to make it happen just like always. BIG mistake!! Last year we were invited to a close & dear friend's house. Much better.
Now, this year! My uncle just died. The funeral was today. My father is on a new, very restricted diet. No turkey & fixings, no pie, no goopy "salads," for him! Still, we have so much for which to be thankful. Isn't that where we should focus, anyway?? Whether we are with family or not, whether we feast or fast, whether we are sad or deliriously happy, we have so much!!
