Driving down the sunlit road,
blue skies piled with awe inspiring
clouds,
I recalled that I had not
formally committed the day
to my Father God.
I began saying aloud,
"Thank You!"
"Thank You."
By the time I said the
third "Thank You!"
With the fourth, I laughed
at myself for crying.
The fifth sobbing
"Thank you,"
may have been the last
as the acknowledgement of
how very much I have
to thank God for
I had to pay closer attention
to my driving, then, but
I am still blessed
by knowing
I am blessed. :)
Such a great post! Amen sister! We'll have that time in heaven to sing His praises - oh the 'thank yous' we'll say then!!! We don't even know all of His glory yet!

DeleteOh...we can never say Thank you enough, to our wonderful Heavenly Father. His out pouring love for each of us.
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your past post and really enjoying them.
So proud I found your blog. May God bless you.
:) SBM, you make me feel so good! In the last few weeks, I find myself filled with thanksgiving. Ho ho! I don't mean the feast that some Americans call "National Pig Out Day!" I mean that I love it when my thoughts are focused on giving thanks. :)
